
Nearly 20,000 people gets trapped today into floods in kurnool town as worst floods in recent memory inundated the district in Andhra pradesh triggered by heavy rains in karnataka.
the famous temple Mantralayam ,the seat of Raghavendra Matt in the Kurnool District,situated on the bank of the river Tungabhadra,gets submerged
with water and people climbed the rooflops to save themselves from floods.

Guntoor ,kurnool and Krishna districts became very worst due to heavy discharge of expected water from Srisailam reservoir in kurnool district,which is likely to receive a staggering 12 lakh cusecs of water in the next 12 hours.
